Shoes...*Squeal*....And Daringly Cool.

I have to squeal of joy at these shoes:

How perfect are they? I love them to death and would wear them in a heartbeat.

And then I want to share the shoes I will purchase the first decent payment I get for my photography:

They are classic in style and will last forever. I love Louboutin with his trademark red underside of the heel. They will be mine when make my first big payment in photography.

And this dress needs a mention:

I wish I was daring enough to wear such a dress. the deep v plunge makes me take pause as does the length. I am not sure I would feel comfortable in it but, damn, it is gorgeous and cool.

I cannot get those Louboutin's out of my head...

Tees For Late Spring.

I came back from Seattle mid-last week after doing way too much shopping and seeing Flight of the Conchords at the Paramount Theater.

Here is my stealth Conchords shot:

It was the only shot I got off without blurring and just before the usher shone the flashlight at me as a warning. The Paramount ushers are Nazi about this sort of thing it appears even though the announcement only said, "No flash or video photography please". I was doing neither.

It was a great concert and I am glad finally got to see the Conchords live after two years of trying to get to one of their concerts. Seeing them perform "Sugalumps" live was worth the ticket price alone. It is a must see! So "Yay!" for me. Yes, I realized a dream of mine so I am excited!

Okay, now on with the fashion part of this post.

I am feeling t-shirts recently because it is FINALLY warming up here in the PNW. Leaves are out on the trees, grass is green, flowers are blooming, allergies are taking hold...so it's time to break out the tees and catch some long needed rays of sun.

I am loving the cherry blossom print on this tee:

Above: Cherry Blossom V-Neck Tee at Urban Outfitters

It is pretty and not too into the "pink girlie realm" like a lot of cherry blossom designs are. I could see myself wearing this darker, blossom, tee and love the "pen & ink" quality of the design.

This tee is very cool with it's strange print:

Above: Stretch Gauze Indo Print Tunic by Grey Antics

The tunic has a "Native American" edge to the print on it. Love how bold the print is as well. They call it a tunic but I am thinking it looks a lot more like a long tee...but then maybe it's just me.

This tee has a slogan on it that nods to Tolkien and Lord of the Rings:

It's a tee you wear to show off your geekiness but, with a stylish flair. I would definitely add this tee to my wardrobe since I am a Tolkien fan.

This tee has a cool graphic on it:

I love the turntable graphic done in white on the black shirt. Again they call it a "tunic" but it resembles a long tee. I am keeping an eye on this shirt and if it is in my size when they put it on sale, it is mine!

These are only a few of the tees that have recently caught my eye. I am thinking you can wear all of them with this cool bracelet:

Above: Shredded Leather Bracelet at Urban Outfitters

I like it because it is a more updated bracelet as compared to the heavy, studded, leather bracelets I am seeing everywhere. It is a bit sleeker and more female than the "punk rock" inspired bracelets out there. I did the whole punk/Goth thing in my teen/early twenties and prefer the more mature take on the leather bracelet like the one above.

Anyway, nice to be back blogging. So many new things coming out as summer rolls around. It should make for interesting blogging in the coming months.

Time To Pimp A Spokane, Washington Exhibit!

I rarely find much to pimp here in Spokane because, well we are a bit rural and cut off from the world but, The MAC ( Museum of Arts And Culture) is having a Sci Fi movies/tv show costume exhibit.

Out of this World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television

June 6, 2009 - September 5, 2009

The MAC will host the traveling exhibit Out of This World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television from June 6 through September 5, 2009. Out of This World: Extraordinary Costumes from Film and Television will feature more than 30 costumes and related objects from science fiction films and television programs such as, Star Wars, Blade Runner, Terminator, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and Batman. The exhibition will allow visitors to examine how costume design incorporates color, style, scale, materials, historical traditions and cultural cues to help performers and audiences engage, in new or accepted ways, with the characters being portrayed.

I am a sci fi lover and also love to look at costumes. I love going to the Sci Fi Museum (Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame) in Seattle so I am curious to see what the exhibit here in Spokane has in it.

I encourage any fashionistias in Spokane and the surrounding areas to go take a peek at the costumes at the MAC because sci fi brings great inspiration through costuming for movies/films.

Cool things coming to Spokane are few and far between so get out and support these sorts of things to encourage them coming here.

I am so excited by this and by going to shop at H&M (and other stores) in Seattle .

Popping In, No I Haven't Died.

I have been busy with photoshoots/photo editing so haven't had time to post as much as I would like to. My bad.

I am headed to Seattle this weekend as well and looking forward to getting away for a few days and maybe doing a tiny bit of shopping. I will hunt down H&M this time while I am in Seattle. It is am absolute must to me.

Not a lot going on here on the shopping front. They are, finally, opening a Forever 21 store in the Valley Mall (35 minutes from my house by car) but I cannot be bothered to attend the opening with all the overweight local girls bitching about how nothing fits them there. I will wait a while and then visit the store after the initial crowd dies down.

Okay, off I head back to editing photos. In the meantime, enjoy a little "Clint Eastwood":
