I love the use of the peacock feather and it would look great on long hair done up in a loose bun or loose hairstyle. And the clip is only $9.00 so won't break the bank!

Why not stick the feather into an updo? Anyway, sticks look better than feathers. At least having a pen or pencil in the bun is useful. Just take it out, use it and stick it right back in.
My Mom almost always keeps a pencil when she is keeping her hair tied up on top of her head. And she looks beautiful. Sometimes it even goes beautifully with a flower (or many).
