Woven Shoes Anyone?

I was looking around online this evening and came across some very strange, yet intriguing, shoes:

I am liking the woven look of them even if they are rather strange looking.

I wonder how well the woven material would hold up of you wore them often and walked around a lot in them? I am thinking they may start looking "ratty" soon.

Still, very interesting looking shoes.
